Job Descriptions

We are seeking a visionary leader to join Narayana Business School as the Principal/Director. In this pivotal role, you will: 

  • Lead and inspire our academic team towards excellence.
  • Drive academic and pedagogical innovation in our Department of Management.
  • Play an integral role in developing and revising undergraduate and postgraduate modules, focusing on dynamic content and assessment methods.
  • Engage in lecturing, conducting tutorials, and actively responding to student feedback.
  • Embrace and enhance the use of technology in Distributive Education to optimize learning experiences.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge instructional methods.
  • Guide and mentor students in research projects, providing ongoing support and counselling.
  • Spearhead career-enhancement programs and activities, fostering student development.
  • Contribute to departmental committees, clubs, and functional activities within the institution.
  • Design and deliver Management Development Programs (MDPs), certificate programs, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Represent Narayana Business School at national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops.
  • Design, develop, and plan Self Learning Materials and programs in your subject area.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Head of the Department of Management.

 

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • A PhD with first-class degrees at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels (Master’s degree can be MBA/PGDM/M.Com).
  • A minimum of 15 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years as a professor.
  • Experience in successfully guiding at least 2 PhD candidates.
  • A strong publication record with a minimum of 8 research papers.
  •

  • Engage in lecturing, tutorials, and assessment for undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the Department of Management.

  • Respond actively to student feedback and participate in continuous teaching improvement processes. 
  • Utilize technology effectively in Distributive Education to enhance learning experiences.

  • Lead, mentor, and guide students in research projects, offering academic and personal support. 
  • Create and implement career-enhancement programs and activities for students.

  • Present scholarly papers and represent Narayana Business School at national and international academic forums. 
  • Develop Self Learning Materials and programs in your area of expertise. 
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Head of the Department of Management. 

 

Qualification and Experience Required: 

  • A PhD with significant post-PhD publications and experience in guiding PhD students. 
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry, with at least 5 years at the level of Associate Professor. 
  • Alternatively, at least 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and/or industry, with a notable record in research publications, books, patents, etc. 
  • Experience in industry should be at a managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor, with a track record of innovation, training, technical publications, etc.

  • Participate in the department’s committees, clubs, and other institutional activities. 
  • Design and deliver Management Development Programs, certificate programs, workshops, and training sessions. 
  • Represent the school at national and international academic forums by presenting scholarly papers. 
  • Develop Self Learning Materials and programs in your specialized area. 
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Head of the Department of Management. 

 

Qualification and Experience Required: 

  • A PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline. 
  • Post-PhD publications and experience in guiding PhD students are highly desirable. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry, with at least 2 years of post-PhD experience preferred.

  • Guiding, leading, and mentoring students in research projects, offering academic and personal support. 
  • Evaluating, monitoring, mentoring, and providing counseling to students as needed. 
  • Creating and implementing career-enhancement programs and activities for student development. 
  • Participating in departmental committees, clubs, and functional activities within the institution. 
  • Designing and teaching Management Development Programs, certificate programs, workshops, and training sessions. 
  • Presenting scholarly papers and representing Narayana Business School at national and international academic forums. 
  • Designing, developing, and planning Self Learning Materials and programs in your subject area. 
  • Undertaking additional responsibilities as directed by the Head of the Department of Management. 

 

Qualification and Experience Required: 

  • A minimum of 55% marks in Post-Graduation in a relevant field. A PhD (completed or pursuing) in an appropriate discipline is preferred. 
  • Publications in relevant areas are highly desirable. 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.

  • Engaging with potential candidates during pre-admission seminars and ensuring diligent follow-up. 
  • Managing the admissions process, including the collection of required documents and applications. 
  • Assisting with administrative functions, such as creating brochures and newsletters, and updating the website and databases. 
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations. 
  • Offering post-admission support and addressing any queries from students or parents. 
  • Maintaining accurate records in CRM software and providing daily reports. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Open to graduates or postgraduates from any discipline. 

 

Experience: 

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably within the education sector.
