About The Conference NBSIDRC - 2024

As the world changes fast, the traditional boundaries between academic and business research in managment are blurring, creating a new and innovative way of doing research. Doctoral scholars in Managment are at the forefront of this exciting change, witnessing a dramatic shift in how research is conducted. Technology is making the world smaller and changing the lives of many people, creating new challenges that were previously unthinkable.

Dr Meghna Chhabra is an academician with more than 15 years of teaching and corporate experience across institutions in India. She has done her executive education in “Design Thinking” from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Her Research interests include Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and sustainability. Her corporate work experience includes associations with IDBI Bank and Induslnd Bank. She has worked on an Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) sponsored research project on the “Capacity Building of Women Entrepreneurs.” She is on the review board of many top-tier management journals and is a book editor with CRC Taylor and Francis, Springer, and Elsevier Publishing.

Dr Dhaval Maheta

Dr Dhaval Maheta is a Prodigious academician, with more than two decades of a rich blend of academic and corporate experience. His expertise revolves around the application of quantitative techniques like SPSS, AMOS , ADANCO, Smart-PLS, Nvivo and many more. More than 40 of his prolific research papers have been published in national and international journals. A lot of budding researchers and data scientists are familiar with his name as his tutorials are readily available on youtube in simple and lucid language. His accomplishments include expert sessions as a key resource person for various Research Methodology workshops, including NITs and IIMS. His brilliant academic journey also consists of training over 10,000 faculties, professionals and bureaucrats in data analysis fields. Dr Dhaval Maheta specializes in teaching Quantitative Methods, Financial Management, Production Management, Research Methodology and Financial Derivatives.

Dr Hemant C Trivedi, with a distinguished career in academia spanning over 25 years, has contributed significantly to the field of management education. Formerly the Provost at C U Shah University in Surendranagar, Gujarat, he has also held prominent positions such as Senior Professor and Officiating Dean at The NorthCap University’s School of Management in Gurugram. His current endeavor involves developing an innovative MBA program at Charotar Vidya Mandal University in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Anand.

 

His academic journey includes tenures at Flame University, Pune, School of Petroleum Management at PDPU Gandhinagr, and Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA). At MICA, he pioneered the PG Diploma Program in Retail Communications Management and an Executive Post Graduate Diploma Program in Communications Management. As Dean at the College of Management and Economic Studies at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies in Dehradun and a Faculty member at Bhavnagar University’s MBA program, Dr Trivedi has left mark on management education.

 

A prolific author, Dr Trivedi has more than 30 publications in esteemed academic journals and conference proceedings to his name. His industrial experience spans over fifteen years in manufacturing and marketing industrial pumps and systems, including a role as Marketing Manager for the Gujarat Khadi Board (Marketing Trust) and an early stint with Diners Club Pvt Ltd.

 

An avid traveler, Dr Trivedi’s ‘Retail Yatra’ concept has taken him across India, imparting practical knowledge to his students. With over two decades of experience in academic administration, he continues to influence the future of business education through his commitment to academic innovation and strategic consulting in Technology Innovations, Strategic Marketing, and Retail.

Prof. Dr Sameer Rohadia stands out as a seasoned Data Analyst and IT Educator in Hannover, Germany, with a passionate commitment to teaching, especially in data visualization. He possesses a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and an MBA with an IT Specialization from M. S. University of Baroda, complemented by a Master’s in Data Science from the University of Bologna, Italy, and Ph.D. in ERP implementation from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. Boasting over Twenty years of pedagogical experience in Corporate & Business Management across India and Germany, Dr Rohadia has significantly contributed to professionals growth by conducting over 150 webinars & workshops and training more than 15,000 industry experts, academics & students in MS Power BI, Tableau, MS Excel & Google Sheets. A research workshop is scheduled on May 17, 2024. The Objectives of the Workshop are :

  • To enable research scholars to critically examine the prevailing approaches and paradigms in theoretical and empirical research
  • To introduce scholars to the essential methods, frameworks and tools for designing, conducting, and interpreting research in quantitative and qualitative traditions.
  • To familiarize scholars with the current trends and challenges in the philosophy and practice of management research, humanities and social science research

Only original and unpublished research works are invited. Any submission which is identical or substantially similar to research already published, under review for conference or publication, will not be entertained. Papers with more than 10% plagiarism will be rejected.

Publication Opportunities

Some of the selected research papers will be sent for review and possible publication in journals Listed in Scopus, Web of Science, ABDC and UGC CARE. The final decision will depend on the reviewers’ feedback, quality and relevance of the submitted papers. The author(s) will have to bear any extra cost related to the publication process.
