Programme Structure

The PGDM Dual Specialization program at Narayana Business School is designed to provide students with a well-rounded education, combining theoretical knowledge with practical, industry-driven expertise. The program is structured to prepare graduates for leadership roles in diverse industries by offering in-depth knowledge across two specialized domains.

PGDM Year 1

The first year focuses on mastering business fundamentals and building a holistic perspective on management. Participants engage in immersive experiences, including live projects in Data-Driven Decision Making and Business Analytics using SPSS and R-Program, to develop practical problem-solving skills.

A 3-month domain-specific internship and projects with leading global companies ensure real-world exposure, bridging academic learning with industry practices. Value-added programs further enhance in-demand skills, preparing students for the competitive corporate environment.

Year 1 provides a strong foundation for future specialization and managerial success.

PGDM Year 2

The second year is dedicated to specialization and practical application of concepts. With 16 electives per term, students explore advanced industry practices and methodologies. The unique dual specialization feature allows equal focus on two chosen domains, creating balanced expertise.

The program culminates in a capstone project, enabling participants to address real-world challenges in their specialization areas. This structured approach, combined with internationally recognized teaching, equips students with leadership and technical skills to thrive in a dynamic global landscape.

Detailed Programme Breakdown

OBJECTIVE

Our two-year full-time PGDM in Quantitative Finance seamlessly integrates EY CAFTA learning modules along with advanced skills in risk management, financial modeling, and investment strategies.

AWARD OF DEGREE/ DIPLOMA/ CERTIFICATE

Programme degree will be awarded at the end of the trimester VI examination by taking into consideration the performance of all semester examinations after obtaining a minimum CGPA of 4 out of maximum of 10 CGPA. 14 EY CAFTA will be awarded upon completion of each module.

ASSESSMENT

Each course will have a weightage of 100 marks wherein 50% will be of Continuous Evaluation Components & 50% will be of Term End Examination.

STANDARD OF PASSING

Maximum Grade Point (GP) is 10 corresponding to O (Outstanding). For all courses, a student is required to pass both Continuous Evaluation Components and Term End Examination separately with a minimum Grade Point of 4 corresponding to Grade PASS. Students securing less than 40% absolute marks in each head of passing will be declared FAIL.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate or an equivalent CGPA (10th,12th and graduation) from a recognized university. Candidates in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or those awaiting results are also eligible to apply for NBSAT 2025.
